1. Our Commitment

BHOWCO (“BHOWCO,” “we,” “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same
from everyone who uses our platform. Company names, logos, trademarks, product names, and images
displayed within exhibitor profiles on this directory remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on BHOWCO does not imply endorsement by, sponsorship of, or formal partnership with
BHOWCO unless explicitly stated on the relevant profile.

2. Legal Basis

As a hosting service provider offering services to users in the European Union, BHOWCO operates its
notice-and-action process in accordance with Article 16 and Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065
(the Digital Services Act, “DSA”)
, applicable since 17 February 2024. This process also has regard
to applicable German law, including the German Copyright Act (Urheberrechtsgesetz, UrhG) and the
German Trademark Act (Markengesetz, MarkenG).

3. How to Report Suspected Infringement

If you believe that content published on bhowco.de infringes your trademark, copyright, or other
intellectual property rights, please submit a notice to:

📧 bhowco-legal@bhowco.de

To allow us to process your notice as quickly and accurately as possible, please include:

  1. Identification of the specific right you claim is being infringed (e.g., trademark registration
number, jurisdiction, or a description of the copyrighted work and your ownership of it)
  2. The exact URL(s) on bhowco.de where the disputed content appears
  3. Your contact information and your relationship to the rights holder (owner, authorized
    representative, etc.)
  4. A clear statement explaining why you consider the content to be illegal or infringing
  5. A good-faith statement that the information in your notice is accurate
  6. Your signature (physical or electronic)

Notices that are vague, unsubstantiated, or missing the information above may take longer to process,
or may be declined pending clarification.

4. Our Response Process and Timeline

Within 48 hours

Upon receiving a sufficiently substantiated notice, we will provisionally restrict public visibility of the disputed content while the full review is completed.

Within 5 business days

We complete our full review of the notice and issue a decision: permanent removal, restoration, or a request for further information from either party.

In accordance with Article 17 DSA, we will provide the party who published the disputed content with a
clear and specific statement of reasons for any restriction or removal decision, along with information
on how to appeal that decision.

5. Appeals

If you disagree with a decision made under this process — whether you are the notifying party or the
party whose content was restricted — you may reply to the same notice reference and request an internal
review. We will re-evaluate the matter in good faith. This internal process does not limit your right to
pursue the matter through the applicable courts or an out-of-court dispute settlement body recognized
under the DSA.

6. Protection of BHOWCO’s Own Content

Original articles, exhibitor guides, trade fair calendars, and infographics published on bhowco.de are
the intellectual property of BHowCo Trading GmbH. Infographics explicitly marked as shareable may be
embedded or redistributed only with visible attribution and a direct link back to the original page on
bhowco.de. All other content on this site may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed without
prior written permission from BHOWCO.

7. Listing Correction and Removal Requests

If your company believes its information was published on BHOWCO in error, is outdated, or you wish to
have your listing corrected or removed entirely, contact us at the address above. We aim to process such
requests within 5 business days.

8. Misuse of This Process

Notices submitted in bad faith, or that knowingly misrepresent facts to have lawful content removed, may
result in the notifying party being restricted from submitting further notices, consistent with Article 23
DSA on measures against misuse.
